Wat is een Rapé ceremonie?

A Rapé ceremony is a sacred Amazonian practice in which a finely ground blend of medicinal plants is gently administered through the nose using a traditional applicator. For centuries, Indigenous Amazonian tribes have used Rapé to support mental clarity, grounding, emotional balance, and a deeper connection with oneself.

Rapé is well suited for those seeking stillness, focus, emotional release, or a moment of reflection. Many participants describe experiencing a greater sense of presence, inner calm, and clarity, making it a supportive practice for meditation, personal growth, and spiritual exploration.

At The Great Remembering, every Rapé ceremony is held with deep respect, clear intention, and compassionate care. We provide a safe and supportive environment, explain the process beforehand, and offer space for reflection and integration afterward, helping participants approach the experience with awareness and carry its insights into everyday life.

Your Unique Rapé Experience

What makes my Rapé ceremonies unique is the intention, presence, and care that surround the entire experience. I do not simply facilitate a ceremony; I create a safe, grounded, and supportive space where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves, and receive the medicine with respect, reverence, and clear intention.

Our Unique Approach

Every ceremony is guided with mindfulness, a trauma-informed approach, and deep respect for the Indigenous traditions from which Rapé originates. We take the time to prepare each participant, support personal intention setting, and provide meaningful integration afterward, allowing the experience to become more than a ritual—it becomes an opportunity for lasting clarity, emotional balance, and greater self-awareness.

Who Is Rapé For?

Rapé is best suited for individuals seeking greater presence, mental clarity, grounding, emotional balance, or a deeper connection with themselves. It can be a supportive practice for meditation, personal reflection, spiritual growth, and navigating periods of transition or stress.

However, Rapé is not suitable for everyone. It is generally not recommended for individuals with uncontrolled high blood pressure, serious heart conditions, certain neurological disorders, during pregnancy, or for those with specific medical conditions that may increase the risks associated with the ceremony. To help ensure that participation is appropriate and safe, every participant completes a confidential health screening before taking part.

Your Experience & Results

During a Rapé ceremony, participants are guided through a calm and intentional process in a safe and supportive environment. The medicine is received with mindfulness, followed by time for silence, breathwork, reflection, or meditation, allowing the experience to unfold naturally.

While every journey is unique, many participants describe feeling more grounded, mentally clear, emotionally balanced, and deeply present afterward. Some also report gaining meaningful personal insights or experiencing a renewed sense of connection with themselves. At The Great Remembering, every ceremony is supported by thoughtful preparation and post-ceremony integration, helping participants carry the experience into their daily lives with greater awareness, intention, and purpose.
